Jardin du Palais-Royal 75001 – My favourite place in Paris. Calm, and quiet landscaped gardens of a 17th century palace with a large fountain, tree-lined walkways and lots of good places to sit and relax under the trees and round the fountain. Visit the Colonnes de Buren, black and white columns at the southern end of the jardin.
